“Sindyanna of Galilee” – a fair-trade association of Arab and Jewish women.

Born in a Kibbutz near the Sea of Galilee in the north of Israel. I have been working on various agriculture projects since an early age. I am the General Manager and one of the founders of “Sindyanna of Galilee” – a fair-trade association of Arab and Jewish women established in 1996. Sindyanna develops sustainable agriculture methods, especially in olive groves, produces and sells high-quality organic olive oil.

By combining local tradition, modern know-how, and excellent olive cultivars we are able to produce premium quality, well balanced olive oils that offer distinct character, satisfying bitterness, tingling pungency, and a unique piquancy that follows through on the palate. Our Organic olive oils (Extra Peaceful OO) includes Barne’a, Coratina and Suri cultivars. Sindyanna’s House Blend (Extra Unified OO), is composed of oils from our Fair Trade olive groves. It contains Barne’a, Coratina and Picual cultivars.

The organic olive groves of Deir Hanna village are the first certified by international organic certifier in the whole area.

The olives for our award-winning organic and extra-virgin olive oils are cultivated in groves nestled amid the hills and valleys of Galilee in northern Israel. The organic olive groves of Deir Hanna village are the first certified by international organic certifier in the whole area. The olives are picked from the trees and within hours of harvesting, are cold pressed and stored in air-tight churns to capture their fresh flavor and aroma. We store, pack and sell our olive oil from our fair trade and organic green warehouse in Cana of Galilee.
